The Women in Leadership Series

Half of the people among the unreached are women and women also make up about 2/3 of the missionary workforce! It is undeniable that there are women with strong leadership gifting and vision. Without the contribution of women leaders, the great commission will never be completed.

However, there is a staggering lack of women in leadership positions in field contexts and mission organizations. Depending on multiple factors such as societal biases, theological stances, and personal convictions, women leaders who are trying to carry out their vision can often feel like they are trying to navigate a minefield.

This series is for women who want to grow in their personal development as leaders. These articles define the most common barriers that women leaders face with suggestions for how to navigate those obstacles and grow. The “Men and Women Leading Together” series highlights ways that men and women can co-labor together in a way that maximizes each person’s gifting and strengths.
